Abode

An architectural sculpture made of wood, mud, straw and manure. Just a couple of step up and away from the pavement and one penetrates an „inhabitable capsule“ for meditation. An abode, hanging over a mirror surface from stainless steel. A place for indwelling where, suspended like a hammock, the „throne“ of personal experience and meaning hangs. The squares vary – Battenberg in front of the Office of the President, the Saint Catherine Square in Brussels .. or perhaps the „Abode“ has now become a square of its own.
