The Berlin Wall
An authentic piece of the Berlin Wall has stepped onto a small glass square. Underneath the glass, through the steel beams, a stone garden is seen showing the dates of the Wall’s erection and collapse. On them the grid of shadows recalls unequivocally the inaugural purpose of the Wall. The concrete slab wants to dematerialize, reflected in the slanted inox steel wall and begins to turn into a metaphor for the disappearing division between two worlds – perched on the glass’s fragility.
